What to Expect During Treatment

New Patient

If you have never been to our office before, prepare to be here for around 20-30 minutes. You will be greeted by our friendly front office staff, who will take copies of your photo ID and insurance, if you are using that. They will give you some new patient paperwork to fill out. You will then be taken to the exam room, where vitals will be taken, a physical exam by Dr. Hollern will be performed, and X-rays will be taken if necessary. Dr. Hollern will go over your x-rays, and explain your unique treatment plan. Our front desk staff will schedule your appointments, print out your schedule, and go over your insurance copays and deductibles, if you have one.

Established Patients

Once you are an established patient with our office, your appointments each day will only typically take 10-15 minutes. After you sign in at the front desk, Dr. Hollern will adjust you, and then you will receive therapeutic modalities that will help in the healing of your spine. It is important to keep your appointments, as doing so ensures for achieving long-term benefits, such as pain relief and mobility.

Patient Re-Exam

Once you have successfully completed your schedule, Dr. Hollern will do a re-exam on the last day of your scheduled appointments. He will do another physical exam to make sure you are progressing correctly, and ask a few questions regarding your current condition. Depending on your spinal health, Dr. Hollern will give recommendations on how to maintain your spinal health.

Chiropractic Maintenance

After completing your treatment plan, it’s important to maintain your spinal health by getting regular adjustments. Monthly adjustments will keep your spinal in optimal shape, and decrease the likelihood of you having a flare-up.
